Crown returns to homeland
MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara: After being exhibited in the U.S. for the past two years, a majestic crown studded with 9,999 rubies and emeralds owned by the Sultan of Bima, Salahuddin, is back in the hands of his heirs.
Governor Warsito, however, feels that the royal garland, which received outstanding review in the U.S., is not in safe hands until it lands in a museum, Antara reported.
He insisted that the head of the local museum, V.J. Herman, talked the Sultan's heirs into trusting the crown into the museum's custody.
He said he has also given recommendations allowing the crown to be presented at an exhibition in the Netherlands in the near future.(pwn)
