JEDDAH — The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on Tuesday (21/4/2026), directed that all resources and capabilities be mobilised for the smooth organisation of this year’s Hajj. On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, the Crown Prince welcomed the pilgrims arriving from around the world to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. He affirmed the pride of this blessed country in serving the pilgrims at the Masjidil Haram in Mecca and the Masjid Nabawi in Medina, as well as in providing the best services to its visitors. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the cabinet meeting, Media Minister Salman Al-Dossary said that the Crown Prince instructed the continued provision of services and facilities of the highest quality to the pilgrims, namely when they are in Mecca, Medina, the holy places, as well as at air, land, and sea entry points. At that meeting, the Cabinet decided that the state would continue to bear the costs of temporary work visas for seasonal workers providing Hajj and Umrah services in the Hady and Adahi Utilisation Project for the year 1447 H.
