Crowds Storm Bogor Regency Office, Demand Reopening of Mining Activities

Residents affiliated with the Aliansi Masyarakat Cigudeg Rumpin Parung Panjang (AMCRP) held a protest rally in front of the Bogor Regency Government office in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Monday (4/5/2026). The action was carried out to voice aspirations regarding the impacts of the mine closure enforced by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi about seven months ago, and to urge the government to promptly reopen legal mines in the Cigudeg, Rumpin, and Parung Panjang areas that were previously shut down.
