Hundreds of people attended the job-application test organised by CT Corp as part of the Jogja Finance Festival (JFF) at the Jogja Expo Center in Bantul today. The recruitment series took place on Saturday morning, 23 May 2026, and today marks the second day of Career Corner. Candidates sat in rows; the room was not noisy, though some participants interacted with others. They appeared focused as they completed the test using their own devices. The test being conducted was a psychometric assessment. Before answering, participants listened to instructions from staff. On several occasions they collectively answered example questions before returning to their devices. Other staff monitored the room, with some assisting jobseekers who encountered difficulties, displaying patience in explaining. One participant from Wonosobo, Difana Prasatyo, said the psychometric test differed from the usual. ‘Quite sudden, as it’s not the same as other psychometric tests,’ Prasatyo told reporters after the test. Prasatyo applied for a frontliner position at Bank Mega and is also seeking a role in CNBC Indonesia’s News section. ‘Both options align with my degree from Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW). I want to seize opportunities in my preferred career path. At CNBC in the News section and Bank Mega in the frontliner role,’ he added. ‘My hope is that with this career corner I can grab opportunities as long as they exist. I hope to obtain a career that is better and aligned with my aspirations.’ The Jogja Financial Festival runs from today, Friday 22 May 2026, and continues through 23 May 2026 at the Jogja Expo Center, Jalan Raya Janti, Banguntapan District, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Organisers describe Jogja Financial Festival as a platform connecting financial sector stakeholders—from policymakers, regulators, industry players, academics, to the general public—to discuss and share perspectives. The event aims to raise financial literacy and inclusion among the public, especially youths. Previously, the Financial Festival founded by Transmedia in collaboration with LPS has been successfully held in Surabaya and Medan and was attended by more than 10,000 people. Jogja Financial Festival features Business Talk and Educational Class. The Business Talk session is planned to be attended by senior government officials.
