Perumda Pasar Jaya hosted the Prime Ramadan Bazaar Jakarta at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta. The Ramadan bazaar immediately drew crowds of residents.

As observed by detikcom on site on Monday, 9 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB, residents could be seen browsing the various vendors present at the location. A diverse range of UMKM (small and medium-sized enterprises) vendors were present, including fashion, food, Lebaran cakes, hampers, and discounted merchandise programmes.

Several vendors became particularly crowded, especially those selling Lebaran abayas and modest dresses. In addition to these garments, food and beverage vendors attracted significant customer attention.

Residents were seen making purchases from the lined-up vendors. Many of them left carrying multiple shopping bags.

Residents also visited the discounted merchandise programme stalls, which sold staple goods at reduced prices.

The event took place at Jakarta City Hall on 9-10 March 2026 from 10:00 to 17:00 WIB. The bazaar was enlivened by various UMKM, social activities, and entertainment.

Agus Himawan, Chief Executive of Perumda Pasar Jaya, stated that the bazaar was organised to assist the public in obtaining goods at affordable prices. He noted that the bazaar also aligned with the directive of Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung.

“This bazaar will run for two days. Our aim is to assist residents, in accordance with the Governor’s direction, to help people as we approach Eid al-Fitr, so that the community can access goods that we have carefully selected from our markets,” said Agus on Sunday, 8 March.
