Crowded Earlier, Lebak Bulus MRT Station Now Back to Normal

Crowding at Lebak Bulus led to operational adjustments. MRT journeys were temporarily diverted to Fatmawati Station. “In connection with the occurrence of customer density at Lebak Bulus Bank Syariah Indonesia Station, and to maintain the comfort and safety of all customers’ journeys, MRT Jakarta has implemented operational engineering where the final destination station has been temporarily redirected to Fatmawati Indomaret Station,” MRT Jakarta wrote in its Instagram story post, viewed on Monday (4/5/2026). MRT also expressed its apologies. MRT users were asked to remain calm and follow the rules. “We apologise for the inconvenience; the safety of MRT Jakarta customers remains our top priority,” it stated. After 20 minutes, MRT Jakarta announced that operations at Lebak Bulus MRT Station had returned to normal. Lebak Bulus MRT Station can now be used as a boarding and alighting point. “The operational pattern for all Ratangga journeys has returned to normal. MRT Jakarta customers can now select Lebak Bulus Bank Syariah Indonesia Station as the final destination,” it said. “We apologise for the inconvenience; the comfort and safety of MRT Jakarta customers remain our top priority,” it added.
