Cross-Sector Collaboration Drives Preventive Health Transformation
Efforts to build a healthier society can no longer rely solely on the health sector. Collaboration between medical professionals, health technology, education, wellness, and the financial industry is becoming increasingly important in driving a paradigm shift from treatment to disease prevention.
This spirit was the common thread at the Pause, Heal & Realign: Health, Wealth & Future Readiness forum in Jakarta on Friday (26/6). The event was a collaboration between Pause & Rebuild Indonesia and KT Cap Consulting, which operates in strategic advisory and business development.
The forum brought together various cross-industry players with a shared vision to build a more preventive, personal, and sustainable health ecosystem. Participants attended various discussion sessions on the future of health, ranging from disease prevention and personalised health services based on data, genomics, and metabolics, to healthy ageing and the development of sustainable consultation practices.
The forum featured various ecosystem partners offering different perspectives on building holistic health. Pathgene by Pathomics Health introduced a health approach based on genomic analysis to help people understand their health risks more personally. 42 by Detalytics discussed the use of health data to support more precise decision-making in daily life.
Meanwhile, TOS Skin highlighted a healthy ageing and skin health approach as part of long-term quality of life. Perspectives on human capacity development and continuous learning were presented by One Knowledge Academy, while Soultaropy invited participants to understand the importance of balance between emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects in one’s life journey.
Beyond presentation sessions, the forum also served as a collaborative space through networking, consultations with partners, and the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) as a symbol of commitment to strengthening inter-organisational synergy in building a preventive health ecosystem in Indonesia.
Founder and CEO of PT KTCC Pause & Rebuild Indonesia, Reinita Hariyanti, said current health challenges require a more collaborative perspective. “So far, we have been accustomed to talking about how to treat diseases. Yet, the future of health is about how we help more people stay healthy. That cannot be done by one company or one profession alone,” she said in an official statement.
According to her, an ecosystem is needed that connects science, technology, wellness, education, and community towards a single goal. Reinita explained that this collaboration was born from the belief that health transformation requires a cross-disciplinary approach.
Therefore, she said, the forum was designed as a meeting space for experts, industry players, and communities to share knowledge, build networks, and generate collaborations that can have a real impact on society. Through this initiative, she also hopes that more organisations from various sectors will get involved in building a culture of healthy living oriented towards prevention, personalisation, and community empowerment.
