Croatian President to visit RI

JAKARTA: The President of the Republic of Croatia, Stjepan
Mesic, is due here on Feb. 13 for a five-day state visit aimed at
boosting bilateral ties.

Accompanied by Croatia's First Lady, Mrs. Milka Mesic, and a
number of Cabinet ministers and advisors, President Mesic is
scheduled to meet with Indonesian President Megawati
Soekarnoputri on Feb. 13, a foreign affairs ministry press
statement said.

The press release also said that the two heads of state would
discuss ways to strengthen bilateral trade and cultural ties.

The two countries are also expected to sign a number of MoUs
to strengthen economic and cultural ties, in particular, an
agreement on double taxation. --JP
