Criminal Investigation Unit Arrests International Narcotics Network Boss at Kualanamu Airport
The Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim Polri) has arrested a fugitive in a narcotics case, Supriadi alias Adi T, at Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. Supriadi is suspected of being the controlling boss of an international narcotics distribution network.
The arrest, which took place on Friday (13 February) at 21:00 Western Indonesian Time, was led by Sub-directorate IV Head of the Narcotics Crime Directorate, Commissioner Handik Zusen, and the NIC Task Force led by Commissioner Kevin Leleury. Police initially received information from immigration officers at Kualanamu Airport that a wanted suspect by the name of Supriadi alias Adi T, who was subject to a travel ban, was present at the location.
Acting on the report, the joint team led by Commissioner Handik Zusen and Commissioner Kevin Leleury moved to the location to apprehend the suspect.
“The Joint Team of Sub-directorate IV and the NIC Task Force of the Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri successfully arrested Supriadi alias Adi T along with evidence,” said the Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, in a statement to journalists on Tuesday (17 February 2026).
The suspect was immediately taken to Bareskrim Polri headquarters for further investigation. Police will also trace the suspect’s wider network.
From the arrest, police seized a number of items of evidence, including:
- 1 passport
- 1 national identity card (KTP)
- 8 smartphones
- 5 ATM cards
- 1 international driving licence
- 1 black TUMI-brand bag
- 1 AirAsia boarding pass
- Cash amounting to 3 Malaysian ringgit
