Jakarta — Several criminal and security incidents occurred in the Jakarta Special Region on Sunday 15 March, ranging from enforcement action against illegal drug dealers to police investigation into a caustic acid attack on Andrie Yunus, Deputy Coordinator of the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS).

The Metro Jaya Regional Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate secured an 18-year-old youth involved in narcotics trafficking at a mobile phone credit shop on Jalan Nangka, Tanjung Barat Village, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. “During the search, we successfully secured a suspect with the initials MI (18) and found 454 contraband pills,” said Head of Unit 2 of the Narcotics Investigation Directorate Sub-division 3 of Metro Jaya Regional Police First Inspector Denny Simanjuntak in Jakarta on Sunday.
