Criminal incidents yesterday: drug dealers arrested and man shot dead
Jakarta — Several criminal incidents occurred in Jakarta on Tuesday (10 March), ranging from the arrest of two drug dealers in Sunter to a pharmacy being attacked with firecrackers, and a 54-year-old man identified as BAS found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.
Police arrest two drug dealers in Sunter area
The Narcotics Unit of Tanjung Priok Port Police arrested two dealers of methamphetamine and inhalants on the edge of Jalan Danau Sunter Utara, Sunter Agung Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta.
“Both suspects are identified as LL (40) a resident of Purwakarta and W (40) a resident of Pekanbaru,” said Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit at Tanjung Priok Port Police, AKP Trendy Habibi Ariyanto in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Police raid three pharmacies attacked with firecrackers in East Jakarta
Pasar Rebo Police Station conducted raids on three pharmaceutical retailers that went viral after being attacked and struck with firecrackers by an unknown group on Jalan Raya Bogor, East Jakarta, on Monday (9 March) evening.
“We from Pasar Rebo Police Station responded quickly to this information by visiting the location, particularly on Jalan Raya Bogor, in front of PT Meiyume, in front of Mixue, and a third location on Jalan Lestari, Kalisari,” said Police Chief of Pasar Rebo AKP I Wayan Wijaya at the East Jakarta Mayor’s Office on Tuesday.
Police reveal chronology of Depok murder
The Metro Jaya Regional Police disclosed the chronology of the murder incident in Depok, West Java, which occurred on Saturday (7 March), with the discovery of the victim’s body in a desiccated condition.
Deputy Director of the Mobile Investigation Unit of the Criminal Investigation Directorate at Metro Jaya Regional Police, AKBP Resa Fiardi Marasabessy, explained that the incident began on 31 December 2024, when the suspect identified as ARH (44) married the victim identified as DH (55) under Islamic law, and they lived in Perumahan Primavera, Kelapanunggal, until April 2025.
Police foil street brawl, arrest four youths in East Jakarta
The Precision Pioneer Patrol Team of the Samapta Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police arrested four youths along with 12 sharp weapons suspected of planning to engage in a street brawl in Kampung Mekarsari, East Jakarta.
Director of Samapta at Metro Jaya Regional Police, Kombes Pol Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo, stated that the four youths were secured during early morning patrols on Tuesday at approximately 02:04 WIB.
Man found dead with gunshot wound to the head in Pesanggrahan
A man identified as BAS (54) was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head inside a house on Jalan Deplu I RT 001/RW 03, Bintaro Village, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, on Friday (6 March).
“After conducting a crime scene investigation, we immediately coordinated with the Police Hospital to carry out an autopsy to confirm whether any other criminal offences occurred,” said Police Chief of Pesanggrahan Kompol Seala Syah Alam at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
