The Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimum) of Polda Metro Jaya arrested a Bruneian national identified as MIA in connection with an assault case that resulted in the death of another Bruneian national, MHF. Sub-director of Investigations and Mobile Unit III, AKBP Resa Fiardi Marasabessy, stated during a press briefing in Jakarta on Tuesday that the incident occurred on 6 May 2026 at Jalan Sultan Hasanudin, Melawai, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

The Cyber Crime Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya uncovered a case involving suspected illegal broadcasting and distribution of pornography content via live streaming on social media. “The case began with a report from officers conducting cyber patrols, followed by a police report on 1 May 2026,” said Subunit 2 Unit 1 Chief, Kompol Immanuel Sinaga, during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
