The Anti-Brawl Task Force of the Brimob Polda Metro Jaya and the East Jakarta Metropolitan Police detained five youths suspected of planning a brawl whilst carrying bladed weapons in the Ciracas area of East Jakarta in the early hours of Monday.

Brimob Polda Metro Jaya Unit Commander (Dansat) Police Commissioner Henik Maryanto explained that the five youths were apprehended whilst the 2026 Anti-Brawl Operations Task Force team from Brimob Polda Metro Jaya, together with the East Jakarta Metropolitan Police, were conducting routine patrols.
