Crescent Moon Not Sighted During Observation at Al-Musyariin Basmol Mosque in Jakarta

Officials monitoring the appearance of the hilal (crescent moon) to determine the start of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah at Masjid Jami Al-Musyariin Basmol, Jakarta, on Tuesday (17 February 2026) reported that the crescent moon was not visible.

Based on observations at the location, the hilal could not be sighted.
