Creative Economy Ministry Partners with Braze to Accelerate Digital Marketing for Local Players
The Ministry of Creative Economy is collaborating with technology company Braze through a capacity-building program for creative economy players while simultaneously expanding global market access through the use of digital marketing technology. “The ministry’s function is more as an accelerator,” said Riefky in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday. “We want creative economy players who already have products and business capacity to grow faster through access to technology, training, marketing, investment, and international networking.” He stated that the collaboration with Braze will focus on organising the ‘Grow with Braze’ programme, scheduled for early August. Braze’s global network can strengthen Indonesia’s creative economy ecosystem, helping business players improve competitiveness, expand markets, and encourage more national businesses to go global. The collaboration will be carried out on an ongoing basis through several offered cooperation schemes, including providing 1,000 free certifications in customer engagement and digital campaigns for creative economy players, as well as technological support to help business players build more personalised digital communications. Braze also plans to hold an international-scale marketing technology conference on 4 August 2026, featuring the global CEO of Braze from the United States. The Minister of Creative Economy is expected to be a keynote speaker, opening up opportunities for broader collaboration through this momentum. “We believe customer engagement technology can help Indonesian creative economy players build stronger relationships with consumers. Therefore, we want to collaborate with the Ministry of Creative Economy through training, certification, and technology utilisation so that more Indonesian creative economy players can develop and compete in the global market,” said Braze Indonesia Country Director Franz Sihaloho. In addition to discussing the conference agenda, both parties also explored opportunities for digital talent training, collaboration to optimise the businesses of ministry-assisted players, and Braze’s participation in the 2026 World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE), which strengthens Indonesia’s position as a global centre for creative economy growth. Braze is a technology company that helps global brands build customer engagement through a cloud-based Customer Engagement Platform (CEP). The platform enables companies to deliver more personalised communications by utilising real-time data and artificial intelligence (AI) to support business transformation. Through a hexahelix approach, the government continues to strengthen collaboration with local governments, businesses, academia, communities, media, and financial institutions to drive inclusive and sustainable creative economy growth. The government’s focus is on accelerating creative economy players who already have production capacity and market potential so they can level up.
