Creative Economy Ministry Develops Community-Based Entrepreneurial Talent in Aceh
The Ministry of Creative Economy is accelerating the development of community-based entrepreneurial talent by optimising the Creative Hub and Creative by Indonesia programmes together with the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) foundation. Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya stated that the programme will enhance the capacity of creative economy activists and young entrepreneurs through coaching, mentoring, and competency development in the downstream processing of superior products, as well as expanding market access for creative economy players in Aceh. “The Creative Economy Ministry has a flagship programme called Creative by Indonesia. This programme is ready to accelerate local heroes going national and national champions going global. Together with AMANAH, we are curating creative products and the best talent ready to strengthen IP commercialisation, scale up access to funding, and become successful examples of Aceh’s creative economy activists,” he said in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday. Riefky said the ministry aims to make the creative economy a new engine for national economic growth, starting from the regions. This step is a continuation of the minister’s direct review during the relaunching of AMANAH in April 2026. The acceleration strategy prioritises the optimisation of the craft, fashion, and digital content developer sub-sectors through a sustainable hexahelix approach. Furthermore, the downstream processing of local superior commodities and circular economy products is targeted to increase industrial added value, strengthen regional competitiveness, and make a real contribution to national economic growth. “We are ready to support the development of the creative economy in Aceh. The AMANAH Creative Hub just needs to be strengthened into a collaborative space to produce talent, encourage SMEs, and accelerate local brands to the next level together with the Creative Economy Ministry,” said Syaifullah Muhammad.
