Creative Economy Minister Promotes Innovation Through Hexahelix Approach
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, is promoting creative economy innovation through a hexahelix approach.
According to him, each creative economy subsector possesses its own unique characteristics, necessitating appropriate collaboration.
“Collaboration with national and international events strengthens creative capacity and networks. Creative practitioners can take advantage of promotions and training to develop their capabilities,” said Minister Riefky in a press release received in Jakarta on Monday.
The remarks were made in response to creative economy practitioners who conveyed a number of aspirations, ranging from the need for MSME facilitation and cross-subsector collaboration platforms to the strengthening of promotion and training during a Creative Economy Discussion event at El’s Coffee Roastery in Bandar Lampung on Sunday (15/2).
Minister Riefky affirmed that the government is committed to supporting the development of creative subsectors and facilitating inter-community collaboration, so that regional creative products can be elevated and reach national as well as international markets, thereby growing in a more collaborative and effective manner.
During the event, the Creative Economy Minister and Lampung Provincial Government officials conducted a visit to PT Sari Alami to observe first-hand the coffee production and processing operations, from roasting through to packaging. The visit is expected to serve as inspiration for the development of local creative enterprises.
The synergy between the central government, regional government, and creative economy practitioners at the Lampung Creative Economy Discussion and the visit to PT Sari Alami underscored the role of the creative economy as the new engine of growth.
Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani Djausal added that the regional government is committed to supporting all forms of collaboration with the central government, particularly to strengthen the capacity of MSMEs and creative economy subsectors that have already penetrated national and international markets.
“We want creative practitioners to share experiences, improve quality, and grow together, so that Lampung’s creative economy becomes stronger and more competitive,” said Rahmat.
