Creating Horror Content at Kampung Gajah, Content Creator Discovers Corpse

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – A junior high school student was found dead in the area of the former Kampung Gajah tourist attraction, located on Jalan Sersan Bajuri, Cihideung, West Bandung Regency. The body of the seventh-grader was first discovered by a content creator who was doing a TikTok livestream while producing content at the Kampung Gajah site on Friday evening (2/13), at approximately 8:45 p.m. local time. At the time, the witness who found the victim’s body was creating horror-themed content. However, during the production, the witness came across a body lying within the abandoned tourist site. “It’s true that last night there was a report about the discovery of a body,” said Cimahi Police Chief Sr. Comr. Niko N. Adi Putra to reporters when contacted on Saturday (2/14). Niko was unable to provide further details about the discovery. His office is conducting an investigation and awaiting autopsy results currently being carried out at the National Police Hospital, Sartika Asih, in Bandung. Based on information gathered, the victim has been identified by the initials ZAA. The victim is known to be a teenage boy still enrolled in a junior high school in Bandung. Also based on information gathered by reporters, signs of violence were found on the victim’s body, including a stab wound in the abdominal area. Police are continuing a series of investigations to determine the cause of death.
