Crash course on marijuana

PALU, Central Sulawesi: Forest rangers in Lore Lindu National Park will receive a crash course from the police about marijuana because many cannot tell the plant when they see one, according to Antara.

Banjar Yulianto Laban, head of the agency managing the park, said his rangers stumbled on one hectare of hemp, the plant from which marijuana is extracted, in the village of Watumaeta inside the park early this month.

Last month, they discovered the plants in the highlands of Napu near the park, he said. (04)
