CPPCC optimistic about China’s economic prospects

Beijing - The National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which is China’s top political advisory body, held a press conference on Tuesday (3/3), a day ahead of its annual session. Liu Jieyi, spokesperson for the 4th session of the CPPCC’s 14th National Committee, attended the press conference in Beijing. Although still facing challenges, China’s economy has a solid foundation with many strengths, resilience, and great potential, Liu Jieyi said at the press conference. China’s economy showed extraordinary resilience and vitality last year, with growth among the fastest of major world economies, Liu said.
