Cowardly act

As a Jakarta resident, I was really annoyed when I read a news
story published in WartaKota about the bomb blasts on Sunday,
Sept. 23, at Senen Atrium. I think the perpetrators are cowards
with no concern for the well-being of Jakarta residents.

What message did they want to convey, if any? Bombings in
public places are really barbaric acts. Is it terrific for the
perpetrators to be able to turn public places into horrifying
sites and make people afraid to go anywhere? Indeed, stern
measures must be taken against these perpetrators.

Police may suspect some people to have masterminded these bomb
blasts but most important of all is they take stern measures to
ensure that the entire population of Jakarta will enjoy security.
This is indeed the job of the police.
