Court Confirms Safe Storage of Ex-Hotel Sultan Assets
The Central Jakarta District Court (PN) has confirmed that all items removed during the eviction of Block 15, the former Hotel Sultan, have been stored in accordance with applicable procedures. This assurance came after the Chief Judge of the Central Jakarta District Court, Husnul Khotimah, and her team conducted a direct inspection of two storage warehouses in Bekasi Regency on Monday (27/7).
Based on the inspection, the Central Jakarta District Court stated that the storage process had proceeded in an orderly and secure manner, in accordance with the provisions set out in the execution report (berita acara eksekusi).
The Director of the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre (PPKGBK), Rakhmadi A. Kusumo, said the inspection, led directly by the Chief Judge of the Central Jakarta District Court, formed part of oversight to ensure all stages of the execution complied with the rule of law.
“We are deeply grateful to all parties who supported the direct inspection by the Central Jakarta District Court, led personally by the Chief Judge. We have carried out the entire series of court-ordered execution processes, namely the relocation, transport and proper storage of the items,” Rakhmadi said, as quoted on Tuesday (28/7).
He emphasised that PPKGBK would continue to ensure the storage and security system for the items operates in accordance with regulations, including the retrieval mechanism as stipulated in the Execution Report of the Central Jakarta District Court.
“We will continue to implement the storage requirements, also based on input from the court. In principle, all items must be stored properly, safely, be easy to monitor, and be retrievable through established procedures,” he said.
The inspection formed part of oversight of the eviction of Block 15 of the former Hotel Sultan, which began on 18 June 2026. The Chief Judge was accompanied by the court clerk and bailiff, PPKGBK directors, representatives of the Ministry of State Secretariat, and legal counsel for the ministry and PPKGBK.
Also present were representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), the Deputy Chief of Bekasi Metro Police, representatives of Kodim 0509/Bekasi Regency, and local security personnel.
The first site visited was a warehouse in the MM2100 Industrial Estate, Jalan Selayar 2 Block I/5, Cikedokan Village, West Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency. The warehouse is used to store items from Tower 1 and Tower 2 of the apartment block, the coffee shop, fitness centre and tennis courts in the former Hotel Sultan complex.
The delegation then inspected a warehouse at Cikarang G/IIC Storage Complex Block CF Number 2, Pasirranji Village, Central Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency. This location stores items from the Lagoon Tower, Main Tower, Garden Tower, Nippon Resto, Qi Lounge, Golden Ballroom and Kudus Hall.
Legal counsel for the Ministry of State Secretariat and PPKGBK, Kharis Sucipto, explained that the field survey was conducted to verify that the condition of items in the warehouses matched inventory data, storage layout, security facilities and the execution report.
“The Central Jakarta District Court will continue its oversight until the entire process is truly complete, including during the storage period and the retrieval of items over the six months from 18 June 2026,” Kharis said.
During the inspection, the team checked the storage system, the grouping of items by location of origin, warehouse layout, retrieval mechanisms, and the consistency of stored items with the inventory data held by the court. The result was that all items had been arranged systematically, facilitating oversight, data matching and retrieval.
The team also assessed warehouse security, cleanliness, access control and other supporting facilities to ensure all items remain in good condition during the storage period.
In accordance with the execution report, all items will be stored for six months from the execution date of 18 June 2026. Should PT Indobuildco wish to retrieve its property, the company must first obtain permission from the Ministry of State Secretariat and PPKGBK, and coordinate with the Central Jakarta District Court. The retrieval process must follow established procedures so that data matching, physical inspection, administration and the handover report can proceed in an orderly manner.
Through the inspection, the Central Jakarta District Court affirmed that all post-execution stages for Block 15 of the former Hotel Sultan remain under court supervision. Meanwhile, PPKGBK remains responsible for safeguarding and storing all items in accordance with the provisions of the execution report.
