Forum Keadilan No 14/III/1994 published the controversial
essays about The White Book and Manai Sophiaan's book, which
argue whether or not Bung Karno was involved in the G-30-S/PKI
abortive coup attempt.

Vice President Try Sutrisno believes that "It is time we made
peace with history. The challenges of the future are much more
important." He hints that we shouldn't get weighed down on the
differences, but should solidify our unity. History tells us that
squabbles only weaken our unity.

Western countries, with their mission of peace and respect for
human rights, should make us more aware of the need to maintain
unity and competence.

As a mortal, Bung Karno may have made mistakes and slipped
into negligence. We should learn from his mistakes.
