Cosmetics Shop in East Jakarta Raided, Police Seize 2,500 Narcotic Pills

JAKARTA - A cosmetics shop on Jalan Kalisari Raya, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, was raided by residents along with police officers after it was suspected of selling Schedule G drugs on Monday night (13/5/2026). During the raid, police seized around 2,500 narcotic pills that were hidden in the shop’s location. Pasar Rebo Police Chief AKP I Wayan Wijaya stated that during the search, officers found thousands of Schedule G pills stored above the shop’s ceiling. He continued that the raid was carried out after police received reports from nearby residents regarding suspicious activities at the shop. “The incident occurred on Monday night around 22:00, based on information from residents, members of the police sector and the RT head, along with youth from the karang taruna, conducted the raid at the location,” said Wayan. Residents then attempted to open the shop’s door to conduct a search related to the alleged sale of Schedule G drugs. After successfully entering, residents found several narcotic pills stored in plastic bags. “Heximer and Tramadol were at the location. The matter is now being handled by the police, a report has been filed by Kalisari residents, and the perpetrator was not present at the scene,” according to the kabar kalisari statement.
