Corruption in Free Nutritious Meals Programme: Electric Motorcycle Supplier Boss Detained by Attorney General's Office
The Indonesian Attorney General’s Office has named and detained a suspect in a corruption case linked to the procurement of electric motorcycles for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. AM, a commissioner of PT YAT, was designated a suspect after investigators deemed there was sufficient evidence of his involvement in irregularities concerning the programme’s governance under the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025-2026 period. The announcement was made by the Director of Investigations at the Junior Attorney General’s Office for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, during a press conference at his office on Friday (12/6).
