Corruption Eradication Commission to Designate Two Suspects from Cilacap Arrest Operation

Jakarta, 14 March 2026 — Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will designate two suspects from the hand-catching operation (OTT) conducted in Cilacap Regency.

“Certainly in today’s disclosure, two people will be designated as suspects,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo whilst providing a statement at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Saturday (14 March 2026).

Budi did not reveal who would be designated as suspects. Both are among those secured during the OTT in Cilacap.

“All of this is still being examined,” said Budi.

The KPK secured 27 people during the OTT in Cilacap. Of this number, 13 were brought to Jakarta.

Several officials from Cilacap Regency Government were transferred to Jakarta, including Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman and Regional Secretary (Sekda) Sadmoko Danardono.

In the OTT conducted, investigators seized various pieces of evidence. These include cash valued at hundreds of millions of rupiah, electronic evidence, and documents.
