Correction from Guthrie

We represent Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad in their dispute with PT
Adhiyasa Saranamas for an alleged breach of contract. In
reference to the article published in Aug. 16 edition of The
Jakarta Post covering this dispute, we wish to correct the
statement that the South Jakarta District Court has "granted a
request by Adhiyasa to sequester Guthrie's 20 percent stake in
PT. Salim Ivomas Pratama, its 21.59 percent stake in PT Serikat
Putra, and its 70 percent stake in PT Guthrie Pecconina
Indonesia." The court has not granted any such attachment.

Indeed, we have questioned the basis for Adhiyasa's request in
view of Guthrie's strong financial position and the nature of
Adhiyasa's claim.
