Corpse thrown out of ambulance

JAMBI, Jambi: The body of a baby was thrown out of the
ambulance carrying it during a collision with a bus at an
intersection here on Sunday.

Eyewitnesses said the collision occurred because the ambulance
ran a red light.

"The baby's body was propelled out of his mother's hands by
the force of the collision," one eyewitness said.

The local police said the accident was the second to happen on
the first day of 1995. In a previous accident, a policeman was
hit by a bus and killed, Antara reported yesterday. (rms)
