Coretax SPT Jockeys: A Solution for Confused Taxpayers Who Dislike the Hassle
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — The proliferation of offers for third-party services to handle annual tax return (SPT) filings through the Coretax system has become an increasingly noticeable phenomenon among the public, particularly on social media.
This service, which promises ease and speed, has grown alongside the rising demand from taxpayers to complete their administrative obligations digitally.
This is especially true when faced with a system that is not yet fully understood.
In such situations, the existence of these jockeys is not only seen as a shortcut but also as a form of societal adaptation to the rapid changes in public services.
“The existence of SPT jockeys helps the public who are actually confused about SPT, especially using Coretax,” he said when contacted on Monday (13/4/2026).
According to him, many taxpayers lack sufficient understanding of using the digital system.
The involvement of third parties becomes the most realistic solution in certain conditions.
Trubus highlighted the implementation of the Coretax system, which he assessed as proceeding too quickly without adequate education for the public.
This has caused many users to feel difficulty from the outset.
“Secondly, the government itself, when implementing Coretax, should have ensured the public understood first, been educated first, so it’s not rushed; now it’s rushed, resulting in many people not understanding SPT using Coretax,” he stated.
Without sufficient socialisation, errors in filling out the forms have become common.
In fact, according to him, the public needs a non-short adaptation period to fully understand the system.
“At least two years. So the public can understand it, filling it out—there are many mistakes in clicking, many errors,” he said.
