Coretax App to Run on Mobile Phones, Here Are Its Features

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - In two weeks, the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance will launch Coretax Mobile, as an additional service for the core tax administration system in a mobile version. Coretax Mobile will be available on Android and iOS.

Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto said that Coretax Mobile will be like M-Pajak which has been introduced to the public since 2021.

“For M-Pajak, Coretax Mobile, this is also an additional channel for Coretax DJP,” Bimo said at the Tax Class event at the DJP Headquarters, Jakarta, Thursday (5/3/2026).

Bimo said Coretax Mobile will be focused only on having features for activating taxpayer accounts and authorization codes. The aim is to complement Coretax Form services.

“So the features are taxpayer account activation and authorization codes, access is online using a mobile device,” Bimo said.

Bimo emphasised that for reporting services you still have to use the Coretax DJP website when connected to an internet connection. While if you are not in a place with easy internet access you can use Coretax Form.

“If the signal conditions, internet conditions are unstable, you can do the electronic form on the Coretax DJP website,” Bimo asserted.

In Coretax Form services that have been usable by taxpayers since 25 February 2026, the features include reporting the Annual Personal Income Tax Return with nil status or only from one employer.

“There are already 2,400 Coretax Forms filled by taxpayers who are using it,” Bimo said.
