Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment Supports Multi-Stakeholder Development Model
Abdul Muslim, Assistant Deputy for Community Business Marketing at the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment (PM), expressed his appreciation for the hosting of the Indonesia Best Social Development Award 2026. He noted that the theme of the event aligns with community empowerment policies aimed at driving inclusive economic growth.
Abdul stated that amidst efforts to boost economic growth, employment challenges and pressures on the middle class remain significant concerns. Consequently, he emphasised the need for a development model that engages various parties, including the business world, to create an economic ecosystem that provides widespread benefits to society.
“To simplify, the spirit is to profit together and progress together; as companies grow, the surrounding communities should also prosper. More importantly, these relationships must be built for the long term so that even after specific programmes conclude, the economic ties remain and the benefits continue to expand,” Abdul said in a press release in Jakarta on Saturday (3/10/2026).
