Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment urges replication of M-Bloc model to strengthen SMEs and creative economy

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar is urging the replication of the M-Bloc Space model in various regions so that more SME actors and the creative economy can gain access to business spaces and markets.

“M-Bloc is a very strategic place and has contributed significantly to the growth and development of our SMEs, as well as the continuously expanding creative economy activities,” said Muhaimin Iskandar after the Limited Ministerial Meeting at M-Bloc Space, Jakarta, on Monday.

According to him, optimising strategic spaces like M-Bloc Space requires cross-sector collaboration.

He stated that synergy between state-owned enterprises as asset owners, creative managers, and local government support serves as a real example of successful public space management based on economic empowerment.

He emphasised that the SME and creative economy sectors play a strategic role in absorbing labour while expanding the entrepreneurial base in society.

Therefore, according to him, access to financing and business mentoring must continue to be strengthened.

“Its contribution is tangible, that KUR which runs well will open up new job opportunities, develop business actors that we target, God willing, ten million people in the next five years will get good jobs,” said Muhaimin Iskandar.
