Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment: In 1.5 Years of Prabowo's Government, Food Stocks Are Sufficient

National food stocks are currently the largest in Indonesia’s history. Jakarta (ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar claims that Indonesia, under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration, has succeeded in ensuring sufficient food stocks within 1.5 years. “Alhamdulillah, in one and a half years of the government under Pak Prabowo’s leadership, it has proven that Indonesia has become a self-reliant nation in food and with sufficient food stocks,” said Coordinating Minister Muhaimin Iskandar while opening the National Working Meeting of the Open University Alumni Association in Bogor, West Java, on Thursday. Moreover, according to him, the current national food stocks represent the largest in Indonesia’s history. He stated that this achievement demonstrates that empowerment can be accomplished in a short time provided the necessary conditions are met. He added that President Prabowo Subianto is carrying out a transformation in development for the nation’s welfare. “President Prabowo uses the term transformation. Transformation means continuous, unending change, with various experiences and processes underway to avoid repeating failures,” said Muhaimin Iskandar. He further explained that the government is promoting the theme of empowerment with the aim of making Indonesia a strong and independent nation. “Since Pak Prabowo was inaugurated, this Red and White Cabinet has embraced the theme of empowerment as part of our seriousness in continuing to grow and strengthen independently because fundamentally we are a wealthy nation. A wealthy nation that actually possesses all the requirements to stand on its own feet,” said Muhaimin Iskandar.
