Coordinating Minister Djamari Condemns OPM for Killing US Pilot in Papua

Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago has strongly condemned the actions of the Free Papua Movement (OPM) for killing a pilot of US nationality. The government is continuing to monitor and coordinate the handling of the incident involving the burning of a PT AMA aircraft with registration PK-RCY, serial number 923, at the Ipdeheik pioneer airstrip in Balinggama Village, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Pegunungan. Brigadier General Honi Havana, Head of Public Relations for the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs, stated that the ministry is carrying out coordinated measures with the Indonesian National Armed Forces, the Indonesian National Police, and other relevant ministries and agencies.
