Cooperative Minister Opens Dekopin Central Java Working Meeting, Invites Advancement of MSMEs through Village Cooperatives
Cooperative Minister Ferry Juliantono opened the Regional Working Meeting of the Indonesian Cooperative Council (Dekopin) for Central Java while witnessing the inauguration of the Dekopin Central Java leadership. On that occasion, Ferry invited the Dekopin ranks to advance MSMEs through Village Cooperatives Merah Putih.
The event was held today in Semarang, on 14/4/2026. Accompanying Ferry was Deputy for Cooperative Supervision at the Ministry of Cooperatives, Herbert Siagian.
Also present at the event were Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi, Dekopin Executive Chairman Priskianto, and Dekopin Central Java Chair Sri Hartini along with other board members.
On that occasion, Ferry invited Dekopin Central Java to promote MSMEs so that their products can be marketed through Village Cooperatives Merah Putih. He also assessed that village cooperatives can become a space for MSMEs to develop.
“I invite Dekopin, especially in the Central Java region, to jointly advance MSMEs so that their products can be marketed through Village/Subdistrict Cooperatives Merah Putih (KDKMP),” said Ferry.
“KDKMP must become a space for local MSME products to grow and develop, not filled with products from outside or controlled by large distributors,” he continued.
