Convenience for commuters

In the name of thousands of users of the Jakarta-Bogor
electric train, I thank the railway company for their efforts to
improve services, including through providing additional coaches
and increasing the frequency of departures.

They now schedule a 9:30 p.m. train departing from Kota
station, a service which benefits night-shift workers. In the
morning, schoolchildren, university students and office workers
find the additional coaches a great help.

Yet the convenience has not lasted long. The number of the
passengers continues to increase; the new trains soon begin as
crowded as ever, reaching an intolerable level. The passengers
are traders, housewives, professionals and university students
whose number reaches more than 10,000. All these regular
commuters expect quality services from the railway company.
