Contraflow Schedule and Open-Close Scheme for 2026 Homecoming Traffic on the Trans-Java Toll Road

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is implementing contraflow traffic engineering to maintain smooth homecoming traffic flow in 2026. Contraflow will be enforced on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road towards Cikampek from KM 36 to KM 70 using an open-close scheme. This policy falls under police discretion, deeming further traffic engineering necessary on that toll section. Previously, contraflow was suspended on Wednesday (18 March 2026) at 20:51 WIB but reinstated due to increasing vehicle volumes. The policy is based on the Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) Number KP-DRJD 854 of 2026, HK.201/1/21/DJPL/2026, Kep/43/II/2026, and 20/KPTS/Db/2026. Here is the contraflow schedule on the Trans-Java toll road. Contraflow will be applied during homecoming traffic starting from the Jakarta-Cikampek toll at KM 47 to KM 70. The first contraflow period runs from 17 March 2026 at 14:00 WIB until 20 March at 24:00 WIB. The second period is from 21 March 2026 at 12:00-20:00 WIB and 22 March 2026 at 09:00-18:00 WIB. It will be enforced from 23 March 2026 at 14:00 WIB until 29 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB. In addition to the Jakarta-Cikampek toll, the Jagorawi toll will implement contraflow from KM 21 (Gunung Putri) to KM 8 (Cipayung) on 24 March 2026 and 29 March 2026 from 14:00-19:00 WIB. Furthermore, a one-way system will be in place to smooth homecoming traffic in 2026. This policy applies from Tuesday, 17 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB until Friday, 20 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB.
