JAKARTA – Traffic engineering contraflow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta has been officially stopped as the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 return traffic conditions begin to stabilise.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) along with the Police halted the contraflow from KM 70 to KM 47 at 01:08 WIB in the early hours based on police discretion. In addition, JTT is also optimising the operation of toll gates at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to maintain smooth vehicle flow.

Nevertheless, local one-way traffic engineering is still in place from KM 263 on the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road section to KM 70 at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to anticipate an increase in vehicle volume heading to Jakarta.

“The cessation of contraflow was carried out after an evaluation with the Police showed increasingly controlled traffic conditions. However, we are still anticipating a surge of vehicles from the east by maintaining the local one-way. Therefore, we urge road users to monitor traffic conditions through the real-time CCTV feature on the Travoy app and follow the instructions of officers on the ground,” said Ria, in an official statement, Sunday (29/3/2026).

To support smooth transactions and reduce congestion at the toll gates, JTT is operating 22 toll gates towards Jakarta and 8 toll gates towards the east on the Trans Java at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate.

This step is taken to accelerate the transaction process while ensuring that vehicle flow continues to run smoothly towards Jakarta.

The latest traffic information on Jasa Marga Group toll roads can be accessed through the 24-hour One Call Center at number 133 or the Travoy app available on iOS and Android.
