PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has adjusted traffic engineering on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to anticipate a surge in vehicles during the 2026 Lebaran return flow. This policy is implemented situationally in collaboration with the police. The contraflow, previously one lane, has been expanded to two lanes in the segment from KM 70 to KM 47 towards Jakarta since 18.05 WIB. This step was taken following an increase in vehicle volume from the Trans Java direction. Additionally, traffic flow is being situationally diverted through the Karawang Barat Toll Gate at KM 47 towards Cikampek. This diversion aims to reduce density on the main route and accelerate vehicle distribution. “JTT, together with the police, continues to conduct intensive monitoring and situational adjustments to traffic engineering to ensure the return flow remains smooth and safe,” said Ria. To support smoothness, JTT has deployed operational staff in the field. Traffic monitoring is also carried out in real-time through CCTV integrated with the control centre. JTT also conveys apologies for any inconvenience arising from this traffic engineering. The latest information can be accessed via the One Call Center 133 or the Travoy application.
