Contraflow Implemented on Km 23-28 of Cikampek Toll Road This Afternoon

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that, at the discretion of the police, the company is implementing a contraflow traffic engineering measure to maintain smooth vehicle flow due to road condition handling at the incident site. “As an effort to maintain traffic smoothness and support the handling process at the incident site, at the discretion of the police, a situational contraflow is being implemented on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road,” said Ria in her statement on Wednesday (6/5/2026). Officers from Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), along with the police, are regulating traffic and monitoring conditions in the field to ensure that road users’ journeys remain safe and smooth. The contraflow has been in effect since 11:25 WIB. This traffic engineering is being carried out to ease congestion resulting from the road toll construction and repairs at that point. Jasa Marga expresses its apologies for any inconvenience arising from this handling activity and thanks road users for their patience and understanding. “JTT urges all road users to plan their travel times well, ensure their vehicles are in prime condition, and confirm sufficient electronic money balance before entering the toll road. Road users are also expected to always obey traffic signs and instructions from officers in the field,” she concluded.
