Contraflow implemented on Jakarta-Cikampek toll road's Km 55-65 section as vehicle volumes rise during Eid al-Adha holidays
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) has recorded an increase in vehicle volumes heading east on the Trans Java toll road during the extended Eid al-Adha holidays, leading to the implementation of contraflow measures on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road between Km 55-65. Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT), Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the measure was based on police discretion, with contraflow effective from 09:43 WIB. ‘Contraflow is implemented situationally based on police discretion to ensure smooth traffic flow eastbound during the extended holiday period. J TT and the police continue monitoring on-site traffic conditions and will conduct regular evaluations as needed,’ Paallo told journalists on Saturday, 30 May 2026. Paallo urged road users to plan their journeys in advance, ensuring their vehicles are roadworthy, sufficient fuel, and adequate e-money balance. She also advised compliance with road signs and on-site officer instructions during traffic management measures. ‘Drivers should remain focused and use the Travoy app for real-time traffic updates, rest area locations, toll road CCTV feeds, and emergency services to ensure a safe and comfortable journey,’ she added. Latest traffic information and toll road service requests can be accessed via Jasa Marga’s One Call Centre at 133 and the Travoy app, available on iOS andAndroid.
