Contraflow Implemented on Cikampek Toll Road for 5 Kilometres This Morning

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the contraflow is being implemented at the discretion of the police. This step is taken to ease congestion resulting from road repairs.

“This measure is an effort to reduce density and maintain smooth traffic flow towards the Cikampek area,” said Ria in her statement to reporters on Thursday (7/5/2026).

She added that this traffic arrangement is carried out to support the smooth progress of road maintenance. It is known that repairs are currently underway at Km 28+175 towards Cikampek.

The contraflow has been in effect since 07:35 WIB this morning. It is implemented situationally based on developments on the ground.

“At the discretion of the Police, a contraflow is applied on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section situationally. JTT, together with relevant officers, continues to regulate traffic and monitor conditions on the ground to ensure that road users’ journeys remain safe and smooth,” said Ria.

JTT expresses apologies for any inconvenience arising from the work and thanks road users for their patience and understanding.
