Contraflow from KM 70 to KM 47 towards Jakarta Implemented on Japek Toll Road

JAKARTA – Traffic density during the return flow of Idulfitri 1447H/2026 towards Jakarta is being anticipated with traffic engineering on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section. PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the implementation of a one-lane contraflow from KM 70 to KM 47 towards Jakarta, which began at 10:30 WIB. This traffic engineering is carried out at the discretion of the Police as an effort to ease traffic congestion during the return flow period of Idulfitri 1447H/2026 towards the Jakarta area. Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the traffic engineering implementation is done situationally to maintain the smooth flow of vehicles returning to the Jakarta area. JTT urges all toll road users on the Trans Java route to prioritise safety by maintaining a safe distance, ensuring the vehicle condition is in prime shape, and confirming sufficient e-money balance before travelling.
