Contraflow Adjustment at KM 55 Closed, Redirected to KM 47-65 on Japek Toll Road

JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), together with the police, has adjusted the contraflow traffic engineering scheme on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section. The contraflow entry access at KM 55 has been temporarily closed and redirected through KM 47 to KM 65 at 10.05 WIB. ‘The implementation of opening and closing contraflow access is carried out situationally, taking into account aspects of safety, road capacity, and the effectiveness of dispersing traffic congestion,’ said VP Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, in an official statement on Sunday (22/3/2026). ‘We, along with the police and related stakeholders, continue to monitor and evaluate traffic conditions periodically to ensure that the applied engineering runs optimally,’ she added. Ria advised all road users to pay attention to signs and directions from on-site officers, as well as to adjust their speed when passing through the contraflow lane. ‘Road users are also expected to ensure sufficient e-money balance and that their vehicles are in prime condition before starting their journey,’ she added.
