Content of Discussions When Prabowo Calls Defence Minister, Police Chief, and BIN Head to Hambalang

JAKARTA - Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel TNI Teddy Indra Wijaya revealed the content of the discussions when President Prabowo Subianto called several members of the Red and White Cabinet to his private residence in Hambalang, West Java, last Saturday (2/5/2026).

“In the afternoon until evening on Saturday, 2 May 2026, President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with several members of the Red and White Cabinet in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java,” Teddy stated in a Secretariat of the Cabinet press release on Sunday (3/5/2026).

“This meeting discussed in depth the developments of various strategic national issues to ensure the direction of government policies,” he added.

Furthermore, they also discussed matters related to education, including the utilisation of the role of higher education institutions in the country to directly participate in building their regions.

“Particularly through the utilisation of engineering faculties in those higher education institutions,” he said.

The officials called by Prabowo included, among others, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Herindra, Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Deputy TNI Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita, Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak, Navy Chief of Staff Muhammad Ali.

Then, Foreign Minister Sugiono, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Bakom Head Qodari, Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Angga Raka Prabowo, Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, President Director of Pindad Sigit Puji Santosa, as well as Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya were also present.
