Bekasi Kota Metropolitan Police Chief Senior Commissioner Putu Kholis Aryana stated that the case has now progressed to the investigation stage. Based on the evidence gathered by investigators, police immediately detained the suspects.
“It has reached the investigation stage and they have been named as suspects. The suspects have been detained,” said Senior Commissioner Putu Kholis when contacted for confirmation on Saturday (29/8/2026).
Putu explained that the suspect designation was made after investigators found strong evidence of criminal acts committed by the three individuals.
“Based on the results of the inquiry and investigation, evidence of criminal acts by the three suspects was found,” he explained.
Putu detailed that the first suspect is Z, an employee of Vilmei. The second suspect is a man with the initial A, who is Z’s boyfriend. The third suspect is a woman with the initial L, who allegedly helped to receive the proceeds of the crime.
When asked about the suspects’ modus operandi, Putu said his team is still investigating the matter. Investigators are cross-checking statements from witnesses and suspects to construct a complete picture of the case.
“It is still being investigated and the consistency of statements between witnesses and suspects is being matched with the existing evidence,” Putu concluded.
Previously, influencer Vilmei reported the alleged embezzlement of Rp 1.28 billion. She shared the matter on her personal Instagram account.
Vilmei uploaded a video while searching for the alleged perpetrator. She held evidence of withdrawals from her account.
“Today I am sad and very stressed. One of my employees took Rp 1,282,915,000. One of the people here,” Vilmei said on her personal account on Tuesday (25/8).
The former girlfriend of Willy Salim gathered eight employees who regularly had access to her TikTok account. Initially, Vilmei asked for someone to confess rather than her having to make accusations.
“This was taken from my TikTok account money, which I had never touched at all since I started creating content. For seven years I never touched it. Only about one million rupiah was left. When I wanted to pay for food, the remaining balance was only Rp 1 million,” said Vilmei.
