Content Creator Rape Case in South Jakarta: Counter-Report Filed, Proceedings Underway

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The case involving female content creator with initials CR and a man, RB, is still ongoing at the police. In addition to the report of alleged rape, a counter-report regarding alleged defamation is now also being processed. The report of alleged defamation and or slander filed by RB against CR on Wednesday (18/2/2026) is currently being handled by the South Jakarta Police Resort. Denny inquired about the progress of RB’s report to the investigators after being appointed as legal counsel. He also met with the investigators handling the case at the South Jakarta Metro Police Resort on Tuesday (31/3/2025) afternoon. “We have been officially appointed, so we feel it is necessary to introduce ourselves to the investigators (handling RB’s report),” said Denny. Based on information obtained by Denny, the investigators at the South Jakarta Metro Police Resort have issued a summons to the witness and the reported party, CR, for the purposes of the ongoing legal process. “As a good Indonesian citizen, it is only right to obey the law. I hope that every stage is respected and carried out by all parties in accordance with the applicable rules,” said Denny. On the other hand, the report of alleged rape filed by CR against RB is also still under investigation at the Metro Jaya Regional Police. The Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Pol Budi Hermanto, stated that they are still delving into the scene of the incident, witnesses, and evidence. “Currently, the case is still being investigated, delving into the TKP, witnesses, and evidence,” said Budi. However, the investigation faces obstacles because the incident occurred in 2017. “The investigators’ obstacle is that the TKP has changed management, CCTV is no longer supported because the alleged incident was in 2017,” he explained.
