JAKARTA (JP): Two contemporary Indonesian painters with international reputations will hold a joint-exhibition at the Santi Gallery on Jl. Benda, Kemang, South Jakarta, from April 2.
Eddie Hara, 40, and Nyoman Erawan, 39, both graduates of the Yogyakarta Institute of Arts, will display their latest works, Suara Pembaruan reported Saturday.
One of Eddie's works to be shown is Manusia Televisi Indonesia (Indonesian Television People), which reflects social problems faced by most Indonesian people who are overwhelmed by television.
Nyoman, who was born in Gianyar, Bali, will feature his Pralayamatra, which is based on Balinese tradition.
Eddie and Nyoman have held exhibitions in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia and Japan. (sur)
