Container terminal project approved

JAKARTA (JP): The government has approved the construction of a terminal for shipping containers in Koja, North Jakarta.

The project's chief, Sri Raharjo told Antara on Thursday that the letter of approval, issued on March 21, was signed by Coordinating Minister for Economy and Finance Saleh Afiff. He said government approval was granted following comprehensive studies of the proposal.

Sri said the project, which will cost Rp 150 billion, is expected to be completed next year. The development will cover an area of 10 hectares.(bas)
