JAKARTA — Logistics activity during early Ramadan continued to demonstrate positive trends across various operational regions of IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK). Through February 2026, the company recorded container flow of 600,416 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units), representing an 8.7 per cent increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

On a monthly basis, container flow performance in February 2026 continued its growth trajectory. IPC TPK recorded container flow of 300,525 TEUs, growing 10.6 per cent compared to February 2025, which reached 271,521 TEUs. This achievement reflects sustained logistics activity across the company’s various operational regions during the early part of the year.

Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK, stated that the company continues to strengthen terminal operations to ensure smooth container flow, particularly during Ramadan and ahead of the Lebaran holiday break.

According to her, IPC TPK is also optimising terminal facilities and improving the productivity of cargo handling equipment across various operational areas. The company is also strengthening the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) standards to ensure all activities run safely, efficiently and sustainably.

The largest contribution to IPC TPK’s container flow continues to come from terminals in the Tanjung Priok area. Through February 2026, container flow at Tanjung Priok 1 reached 208,198 TEUs, an increase of approximately 14 per cent compared to the same period in the previous year, which was 182,727 TEUs.

Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok 2 recorded container flow of 286,613 TEUs, growing 6.9 per cent compared to the previous year’s achievement of 268,127 TEUs.

Positive performance was also recorded at several IPC TPK terminals outside Jakarta. Through February 2026, container flow in the Pontianak area reached 43,550 TEUs, an increase of approximately 4.9 per cent compared to the same period in the previous year, which was 41,504 TEUs.

In the Panjang area, container flow reached 20,660 TEUs, growing 20.9 per cent compared to the previous year’s figure of 17,075 TEUs. Meanwhile, the Teluk Bayur area recorded container flow of 18,561 TEUs, up 7.8 per cent compared to the same period last year, which was 17,220 TEUs.

Pramestie emphasised that this growth trend demonstrates that national logistics activity remains robust across the company’s various operational regions.

“This increase in container flow demonstrates sustained logistics activity across our various operational regions. Going forward, we will continue to promote cross-functional communication and coordination with various stakeholders. This collaboration is key to ensuring smooth logistics flow, particularly during periods with increased distribution activity,” she stated.
